EDITORIAL REVOLUTION – THE ROLE OF THE EDITOR CHANGING FOR EVER

The decline of print, new content platforms, partnership deals, ever-tighter budgets, reduced, centralised teams, staff working from home, there’s very little about the job of editor that isn’t changing virtually by the day. We spend our time ploughing through the endless challenges we face, resolving each one the best way we can. But we rarely get the chance to exchange experiences with other editors and to learn from each other how to tackle the multiple demands on us and our teams. This event was an opportunity for members to hear a panel of editors from across the publishing industry talking frankly and fully about their experiences – what they’ve tried that’s worked, and what they’ve done that hasn’t.  The event took place on 24 September in The Screening Room at MPC.

Here is a selection of images from the event.
